Next Phase of Development Programs Ready to Go for U6 to U8's ...

Starting This Week - Register Now - Limited Places

Kids in the Park Commencing this Saturday, 6th March in two venues, the FFSW, in conjunction with Technical Director, Paul Wozny, have established a Football Development Program to develop and deliver a specialist coaching unit to provide sound technical foundations for male and female players between the ages of 5 and 17 years old.  This has been developed as an individual based squad program and is independent from any Club involvement.  Players simply receive ‘extra’ coaching to supplement Club training and this has been introduced to replace the Football West Academy in the South West Region.

We are now at the next phase of the Program and are excited to extend the age groups further to create an underpinning program for all interested players turning six to eight in 2010 (born 2002 to 2004)

.

Fundamentals and Methodology of Coaching Evening

Monday 15th March 2010

Commencing 6.45 pm

Bunbury Catholic College Oval, Picton Rd, Bunbury

The aim of the session is to look at the key aspects of planning and delivering a training session that is

realistic, challenging and is progressive to the needs of the players.

The evening is to discuss coaching fundamentals and methodology and will help the coach to develop a

session plan that will allow for self evaluation and help the coach to recognise specific aspects that the

team or individual may require for future sessions.

The evening is theory based and will give each coach an opportunity to develop their own coaching matrix

that is suitable for their specific age groups as set out within the FFA National Curriculum Framework.

Practical Coaching Session

Tuesday 16th March 2010

Commencing 6.00 pm

Bunbury Catholic College Oval, Picton Rd, Bunbury

Coaches are invited to observe a session delivered by Paul Wozny and James Young. The players

involved are the u13s and u14s Advanced HPC group. This is aimed at giving coaches the practical tools of

the fundamentals and methodology aspect of coaching. This is an ideal opportunity to tie the theoretical

session from Monday 15

            CCJSA Match information 2010
Information for Referees, Coaches and Team Managers
* Matches should commence on time.
* Matches should end with sufficient time for the subsequent match to start on time (this is particularly important where another game is scheduled to follow on the same pitch).  Players in subsequent games should not be penalised due to a late start of an earlier game.
* Where matches start late the referee should advise the coaches and players of the intended finish time.
* Where the match time is reduced, the referee should provide for two equal halves.
