Just a
reminder to all players and parents that the Dynamos Small Sided
Games Carnival is our biggest fundraiser of the year and all
proceeds go toward buying strips and equipment for the entire
junior club, so even though you may not have a player involved in
the carnival you can still help out by volunteering your time for
an hour or so or even donating a raffle prize. All help is much
appreciated.
Next
Committee
Meeting: AGM : 18th
October 2010, 7.00pm @ Dynamos Clubrooms- Please come along, our
committee is small and we are always looking for more volunteers.
Many hands make light work.
**Thankyou to
all families that have supplied us with your email address, this
makes contacting you with important information easy. If you are
yet to give us your address or your email changes during the year
please contact our secretary so your details can be
updated.**
Just a brief reminder
that every player must wear red soccer shorts, shin pads and soccer
boots to every game. The club supplies all juniors with a pair of
red dynamos socks and a shirt (that must be cared for and returned
at the end of the season). We are looking foward to seeing all
players in Dynamos colours.
The Country Coastal
Junior Soccer Association and all affiliated clubs, including
Dynamos, has adopted CHOOSE RESPECT. For more information see

Recently a Level 4/Level 5
referees course was conducted by the South West Ref's Branch.
Thirty four teenagers/adults completed the course. In the coming
weeks you will see many of these participants begin to referee
junior games. Please give them the respect and consideration they
deserve. Remember, without them we do not have a game. Many of them
are quite young, so please, encouragement is very
important.
To keep a club such
as ours working so efficiently there are many people behind the
scenes working tirelessly. The committee at Dynamos JSC need more
volunteers, if you can help out in any way, please come to our next
meeting or contact one of our friendly committee
members.

FIFA Offside Rule (Under 11 and
Above)
Having just watched an Under 11 game over the weekend
I was reminded of how difficult the offside rule can be to both
players and parents who have just moved to the FIFA rules from
Rooball. I have therefore provided links to a couple of
sites to help explain this rule.
1. FIFA Website - this is a pdf document with the
full rules of soccer. The Offside rule can be found on
Page 34 and there are a number of diagrammatic examples starting on
page 60.
2. http://www.dynamic-thought.com/OffsideClickette.html -
this is a fairly easy to follow animation of the rule.
Small Sided Games for
2010
In 2010 U/6, U/7, U/8, U/9 and U/10 divisions will
all compete under the SSG rules which can be found on www.footballaustralia.com.au
Click on Game Development and then Optus Small Sided
Football. If you are involved with any of these
divisions please take the time to read the rules.
Thanks to Coffee to GoGo
Van
who have been at the grounds
all season to provide a great selection of hot drinks to cold
spectators and players. Looking foward to seeing them again in
2010
