FIFA Offside Rule (Under 11 and Above)
Having just watched an Under 11 game over the weekend I was reminded of how difficult the offside rule can be to both players and parents who have just moved to the FIFA rules from Rooball.  I have therefore provided links to a couple of sites to help explain this rule.

1. FIFA Website - this is a pdf document with the full rules of soccer.  The Offside rule can be found on Page 34 and there are a number of diagrammatic examples starting on page 60.

2. http://www.dynamic-thought.com/OffsideClickette.html - this is a fairly easy to follow animation of the rule.

Rooball Rules

For anyone interested the Rooball Rules are available under the "Rooball Coaching" link on the left of the page.  If you prefer you can also access a pdf document on the Football West site. These rules are only appropriate for the U/10 division in 2009. U/6, U/7, U/8 and U/9 divisions will compete under the SSG rules which can be found on www.footballaustralia.com.au

Dynamos Canteen is open inside the clubrooms every Saturday for all your Hot Food needs. Thanks to Reny and Margaret for this fantastic service.
Thanks to Coffee to GoGo Van
who have been at the grounds all season to provide a great selection of hot drinks to cold spectators and players.
